My next pick at #49 is a hometown favorite here in Boston.
The Departed (2006)
You can’t deny Scorsese makes one hell of a flick. I can literally watch this any time and enjoy it. It has a lot of suspense and teeth gritting moments. The performances by Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Leo DiCaprio is top notch. This isn’t higher on my list due to the fact that I am not digging the editing too much. It seemed somewhat sloppy compared to Marty’s other masterpieces.
