The Warriors (1979)
The Warriors. When you watch this film, you get time traveled to the 70s! My mother was the one who introduced this movie to me when I was just a wee little boy and probably too young to be watching such intense violence. But regardless, I was captivated by the unique looking characters, gangs and city. This was the New York City I expected when I first visited NYC. This is a great example of a movie that has a clear concise point, and isn’t over comlicated. You care for the characters, and follow them on their journey back to Coney Island. I can’t recommend this enough!
