Sunday in Rander • 105th Edition

Free comic book day has since passed, but I am giving away a FREE comic today!  Here is a new short story that I teased last week called “The Red Edge Ghost”. It’s a story about Blane that takes place well before the events of the ongoing book. It’s a special turning point in his character’s life which I wanted to share.

I did a small print run of these in the format of 5.5 x 8.5″ printed on ivory paper that will be given for free with purchase of every Graphic Novel.

Sunday in Rander • 73rd Edition

So, with the excitement surrounding my life right now, with the arrival of my daughter, I had to schedule these posts in advanced. So I am coming to you from “THE PAST”!  Yes, I wonder what life is like 2 weeks in the future, did you guys perfect the flying car yet?  Well lets hope so!  Anyway, here is a lil’ panel from Return to Rander issue #4.  I don’t think Blane is getting out of this issue unscathed and lucky like the last issue, but you will have to read to find out.  As you can see I am in the horrible tedious process of graytoning pages. Pray for me.  See you next week with something new!

Sunday in Rander • 69th Edition

This week on Sunday in Rander. I bring something back!  Mini Comics!  Here is another short strip in the universe of Rander. This one actually centers on Blane, and when he was younger.  He was part of a group of do-gooders, who kept peace and justice in the five points.  I named the other three after my Stock*Pile Friends.  Sorry guys, but your fate has been sealed. This strip also features Hartter the bartender!  I think I might do one more mini comic before I stop for a while.

Sunday in Rander • 50th Edition

Welcome to the 50th Sunday in Rander post!  It feels like yesterday that I started doing these posts.  Well, I wanted to share something special, so here is the black and white artwork for Issue #3, coming soon to a comic store probably not near you.

As you can see, Blane is on the cover of this issue.  I wanted to make something simple and reminiscent of desperado.  The very talented Jesse Munoz will be doing colors for it, so once that is done, I will share.  Till next time, take care!
