A day late this week in my Rander post, and with good cause! This weekend was my first time doing the “NorthEast Comic Con”! It was up in Wilmington, MA at the Shriner’s Auditorium. It was a fun little comic show all and all. I sold some original art to people, sold quite a few comic books and met some really cool people! One cool thing was the interview with the Con Men TV Show! http://www.con-men.tv. I will be sure to share that when it airs as I talked all about Return to Rander!
Another cool thing was meeting Billy West! I never got around to purchasing a Fry figure to have him sign as the weeks got closer to the show, and since Billy only has photos of himself to sign, I wanted something “Fry” centric, as Futurama is one of my all time favorite TV shows. So i decided to draw my favorite line Fry says, and leave the word balloon blank for Billy to fill in. And that class act Mr. West did it! That will wrap up my convention circuit for 2014, and look for new fun Return to Rander stuff for 2015!
